Ripped Jeans- 'Inspired'

So I was reading ma gurls blog (Ella) and I came across a ripped jeans tutorial
The 'how to' link is here:
The Original Post on Ripped Jeans
Her Blog is called 'ella violetta' and the link is here- ELLA'S BLOG

The tutorial shows you how to make rips into jeans, and I also added in my own homemade ripped jeans at the end, as a sort of 'response thing' to her blog.. there is no stealing here, simply reblogging.
blogga 2 blogga love only.

Anyway, this is her tutorial
AND IT HAS PICTURES, so even less work for me.

DIY | Ripped Distressed Jeans

1) Use a light coloured pencil/tailor's chalk to mark out the lines you'll cut for your rips. Make the lines about 1-1.5cm apart.

2) Using your fabric scissors cut horizontally across the lines you made. You can make the lines different lengths to make the distress-ness more interesting and stuff.

3) Ok so now is the tricky bit, start pulling at the fabric. You need to go to one side of the cut and start pulling out the vertical threads, as shown in the picture. Removing these threads will leave you with just the horizontal threads! Make sure you go along the whole strip, removing all the vertical threads. Trust me, it gets easier as you go along.

5) The more you do it, the more it should look like this. See how the vertical threads have been removed? Beauts.

6) Continue to cut in different places where you want your distress-ness to be. If you have any straight cut edges, make sure you fray them to make them look even more distressed! Get a pair of small scissors (found these tiny ones in a sewing kit). Open them up and start rubbing the blade up and down along the straight-cut edge. Do this until you develop the fray you want.

- If you want the distress-ness and fraying to be enhanced even more, throw the finished jeans into the wash with one old trainer. The trainer will bash against the jeans in the washer, making the denim softer, adding to the frays as well!

AND THIS IS MY RESPONSE................................................................
I know this wasnt a real blog post because I stole someone else's, but all I actually wanted to do was show the jeans I did myself
Here is my final product:
I'm pretty happy.. it was actually relatively easy, so everyone go ruin your perfectly good clothes!
