Maxi-ing With Some Grapes

Maxi Dress - TKMaxx
Shoes - Reebok Classic, Hi-Tops
Necklaces (Is there such a thing as too many at once? The answer is no) -
Daisy Necklace- no idea
Coin Necklace - Portuguese Coin on Chain
Elephant Necklace - La Moda Charm on Chain
Heart Necklace- Rocks
'ellie' Necklace - Prague Market

We have had that vine for... well ever, and it has never had grapes, UNTIL NOW MY FRIENDS. This was very exciting so I took pics, to be fair they tasted disgusting and gave me a tummy-ache but whatever, they look pretty and that's all that mattered. Not much to say about this outfit except I wore it today on my 2nd Monday as a fashion student! Eek! If you have been keeping up with my other blog that I have had to start for the course you can see what I've been doing, the link to that blog is on a tab at the top of the page labelled 'Fashion and Textiles Blog'...or you can just click 'here'. But go check that out, I need as much feedback as possible as it goes towards my final mark so help me out please!!

Anyway, back to outfit, this dress is fab, the slits up the side make it really cool and airy and easy to walk in, unlike my other maxi's that I end up penguin walking in. I find TKMaxx can be a bit like Primark, where you have to search hard for the good stuff, but it is there. You can't really see my jumper but it's just a knitted off-the-shoulder topshop one, goes with everything. Perfectly slouchy.
This cuteeeee elephant necklace came with my La Moda Giveaway, and I adore it, I took it off the leather strap as I wanted to interchange the length of it depending on what I was wearing, but at £2.50 they're worth checking out, link here.

I feel like Princess Ariel as my hair's gone so red in the sun.. *smiles to self* Around this time last year I had to learn to love my curls, for straightening meant death to hair and my hair started to fall out which was kinda bad. So this is a message to all you girls who hate your curls, you shouldn't.
Thanks and goodnight

What I wore -

Cropped Jumper - H&m
Slit Maxi Skirt - Boohoo
Trainers - Reebok Classics in green suede
Fedora - H&m
Leather Rucksack - Radley

So this was my first ever 'blog' event, and it was a biggun!! Very exciting, huge thank you to Bloggers Love for inviting me to their Fashion Week Pre-Party, there were loads of cute bits and I met some lovely bloggers. I did drag my friend Karmi with me, but she wouldn't let me put in any pictures of her so you may only feast your eyes on yours truly.

You'll have to excuse my 'grundgy' make up, after spending a full day at Notting Hill Carnival my face and hair were a little worse for wear due to our fantastic English "summer."

The clothes they were exhibited will be shown at their shows next week so I could only take a few snaps of them on the rail, but the nail bar and marshmallow (who knew you spelt it like that?!) cocktails were awesome. As some of you may know I start at Ravensbourne University tomorrow but hopefully if I am not too busy with uni stuff this next week I shall be able to attend the actual shows, and you know what that means......... It means that I will be back for more blogging!!!
 *cheers come from the crowds*

Anyway.

Thank you to everyone who has been supporting me so far
Looking forward to much more blogging!
Peace out ma lovelies

Tie-Dye Leggins

Leggins - American Apparel
Shirt - Dad's
Socks - Probably M&S Childrens Range, the beauty of small feet
Shoes - Reebok Classics
Scrunchie - DIY

I am aware of the awful quality of these pictures... Not too sure what happened, the lighting was way off and blown out in half of them and unfocused in others, they almost look like disposables, weird. Anyway, these leggins are seriously old, got them from that yearly sale thingy that AA do in Brick lane where they sort of get rid of old stock and odd sizes for reeeally cheap prices, worth going too. (If you happen to know when the next one is, tell me and Ill add it onto this post.)

The dog featured is my lavley cocker spaniel Archie, he was an unintentional feature but the reason that I am facing away from the camera in most pictures. He thought it would be funny to roll in his own poo...

Yeah, so. This isn't an 'inspo' fashion post, just a very 'me' outfit, which basically consists of an outfit muddle of childish socks with a ridiculously over-sized top, although 'over-sized' isn't hard to achieve seeing as I'm a mere 5'3"! And obviously, my classics. If I could, I would wear my Reeboks to everything, comfiest shoes in the world. And I know, comfy isn't normally the way forward with fashion, as everyone discovered when Crocs and Huaraches came out. But these are seriously amazing. I wouldn't say I am that into trainers as I don't really get the hype of owning 30 pairs of various Air Max's, I'm much more of a heels fan. But whatever, I do like classic trainers, and as long as they don't resemble running trainers I'll probably like them. Hoops are another item that can be styled in any way imaginable, ranging from 'Chavy' (1) to 'Chola' (2)
eg....

Exhibit 1-
Matt Lucas as Vicky Pollard in Little Britain

Exhibit 2-

But that is mainly down to personal style, and whether you define yourself as a Vicky Pollard or a Gretchen Wieners. Basically.... hoops are fresh.

Anyway, always get to sidetracked by mean girls GIFs lol.
Hope you enjoyed this, big luv to all ma readers!!!

Motel Rocks OOTD

Jacket - Levi, Vintage Pop-up Shop, Motel Rocks
Top - Ski gear, thermal.. Sexy
Tights - Primark
Hoops - Spanish Market
Necklace - Israel, the Country not a shop
Shoes - Reebok Classics
Leather Rucksack - Radley
Dog - Archie

The Sample Sale-
So Danie and I made our way up to Great Portland Street at 10am yesterday morning, which by the way wasn't early enough and we ended up queuing for an hour and a half. But finally we got in, and among the other jumble of 16-18 year old girls, we started to fling through what looked like my room, a floordrobe. Due to the lack of changing rooms, it was a complete madness, but we searched and eventually found a few items we wanted. I did mean to take pictures when I was there but it was too busy and small, and taking pictures of semi naked girls wasn't really what I set out to do. So alas, no pictures of the actual sale, but take my word for it, if you've been to a Kilo Sale before, that's what it looked like.

Anyway, another faux-pas I made was wearing this above outfit... When there aren't any fitting rooms, and only one mirror, wearing an oversized tee with tights was extremely inconvenient. If I had any sense, I would have worn jeans/leggins with a vest, easy changing, no nudity. Alas, no. But anyway, re-discovering this tee was the best moment of my winter, I am aware it's technically summer, but I was cold. And ye, it is lined with fleece, so basically it is perfect. Trainers, standard. Plaits, obviously and hoops, well I didn't want to let Vicky Pollard down. My dog, Archie, decided to get in loads of these pictures... so I decided to dress him up, but he slyly loved it anyway.

The Jacket-
SO
As well as the Motel Rocks Sample Sale, they had a 'Pop-Up' Vintage Shop going on too. This is where I found this jacket, and it was dirt cheap. They had some gorgeous playsuits in reds and purples, but I'm not really the playsuit type so just stuck with the jacket. Denim Jackets are one of those things that never seem to go out of fashion, whether they're tight and small or over-sized like this one. So I basically decided 'why not' and got it. As a girl notorious for 'borrowing' people's clothes, I can't mind when people borrow mine back, however after showing this "unisex" jacket to my Dad, he's decided he likes it and will borrow it... so he will continue to rock the double denim combinations that he is so fond of, good.

But hey! Good news, the sale does actually continue today so if you didn't get a chance to go today and decide that revision just isn't worth the hassle, pop down it's open till 7pm.
