LFW Street Style - Part 1

LONDON FASHION WEEK - DAY 4

So this was the first time I have ever attended LFW or even Somerset House and it was just amazing, the show I went to wasn't actually held at Somerset House but I was told to go check it out anyway. The vibe is so live and a photographer tries to take your picture every two seconds which was weird, especially when I was trying to do the same to others.
As I was going straight to an evening show after I was actually quite dressed up, which I guess worked in my favour as I was "papped" a lot, and for a girl who doesn't normally let others take pictures of her, it was scary to say the least. However, I put on my best 'I'm too cool to smile in pictures' scowl and tried to look like I was meant to be there.
This post is a combo of my 'OOTD', the food and the 'Street Style' at Somerset House. I have very few pictures from the event/show I went to, but I shall include those in a separate post as this one is already really long!!
Enjoy!

Maxi-ing With Some Grapes

Maxi Dress - TKMaxx
Shoes - Reebok Classic, Hi-Tops
Necklaces (Is there such a thing as too many at once? The answer is no) -
Daisy Necklace- no idea
Coin Necklace - Portuguese Coin on Chain
Elephant Necklace - La Moda Charm on Chain
Heart Necklace- Rocks
'ellie' Necklace - Prague Market

We have had that vine for... well ever, and it has never had grapes, UNTIL NOW MY FRIENDS. This was very exciting so I took pics, to be fair they tasted disgusting and gave me a tummy-ache but whatever, they look pretty and that's all that mattered. Not much to say about this outfit except I wore it today on my 2nd Monday as a fashion student! Eek! If you have been keeping up with my other blog that I have had to start for the course you can see what I've been doing, the link to that blog is on a tab at the top of the page labelled 'Fashion and Textiles Blog'...or you can just click 'here'. But go check that out, I need as much feedback as possible as it goes towards my final mark so help me out please!!

Anyway, back to outfit, this dress is fab, the slits up the side make it really cool and airy and easy to walk in, unlike my other maxi's that I end up penguin walking in. I find TKMaxx can be a bit like Primark, where you have to search hard for the good stuff, but it is there. You can't really see my jumper but it's just a knitted off-the-shoulder topshop one, goes with everything. Perfectly slouchy.
This cuteeeee elephant necklace came with my La Moda Giveaway, and I adore it, I took it off the leather strap as I wanted to interchange the length of it depending on what I was wearing, but at £2.50 they're worth checking out, link here.

I feel like Princess Ariel as my hair's gone so red in the sun.. *smiles to self* Around this time last year I had to learn to love my curls, for straightening meant death to hair and my hair started to fall out which was kinda bad. So this is a message to all you girls who hate your curls, you shouldn't.
Thanks and goodnight

Yellow Raincoat feat. Archie

Mac - somewhere in LA prob
Jeans - Topshop 'mom' Jeans
Cropped Jumper - H&m
Reeboks - Ebay

CANNOT BELIEVE I HIT 20,000 VIEWS TODAY THIS IS TOO CRAZY!!
Since I started this blog about 4 months ago the support from friends family etc has been unbelievable, and I love you all for that!! I am sooo proud of myself for not abandoning this haha. Without sounding too moist, it honestly is the best thing I've ever started and my thank you to you all is extremely heartfelt!!
*heart eye emoji 2 u all*

My brother's girlfriend left this mac when she left to go back to LA this summer and since then I have pretty much lived in it, who said pale people can't wear yellow!? I've decided to start embracing colour into my wardrobe, however flattering black is, no-one can deny its lack of diversity, so here I am embracing colour in our beautifully bleak English summer. I pretty much lived in my white reeboks all summer so I went absolutely wild, pushed the boat out and bought a green lo-top pair from eBay, which were £10 including postage, basically brand new. Madness.

If anyone wants these 'mom' jeans I am thinking of selling them as I'm not sure they suit me, so let me know either by email - ellie.misner@gmail.com, twitter - @elliemisner or I guess instagram? @elsmikaela
They're a 26 waist and either 30/32" leg so GET IN TOUCH

I didn't want to ramble but it seems I have..............
So um,
THANKS n BYE BABIEZ X O X O
