Internship at Reiss's Head

Hihi readers,

This past month I have been an extremely lucky girl, I was given the chance to intern at Reiss Head Office in the Womenswear Design Department. As some of you may know I did a week work experience with them last year and they asked me back for this summer for a month internship. *screams*
Although this is how I felt for the first week....

But by the end I was like..

*queue extremely sassy walk down bond street*

The beauty that I have discovered about working in fashion is that you can practically wear whatever you want, because at the end of the day if it your own personal style and its 'proper' then why shouldn't you wear it!? Black suits are for lawyers and funeral directors, I don't believe looking smart-ish means suits, and it definitely doesn't mean black only. Bring back colour mon amigos! Ye I know I wore 1 black out, but hey gimme a break, I was running out of clothes.
Anywho going off track, I had to shoot these all in one day hence why my hair doesn't change, and I also had had only a few hours sleep so I apologise for my face.

Anyway, it has been the best month and nothing has made me more determined to continue with my dreams to do fashion design. Hope you enjoyed this, let me know what you think in the comments; what your favourite outfit was and what kind of things you wear to work. (Mine was 3 but whatever you don't have to say that one)

Lots of love

50 Shades of Grey

Jeans - ASOS
Crop Top - Topshop
Bag - Vintage (Mum's)
Sunglasses - Market
JELLY SHOES - eBay link here
Necklaces - The 'chai' is from Israel, sorry it always turns backwards
- The chain is Topshop
Ring - Forever 21
Scrunchie - DIY obv

Just a little spring like outfit for you all, with a fabulously witty blog post title. Keeping as much in theme with my 50 shades of grey, I thought the rope chain bag was appropriate, if you know what I mean. I always find these jeans sort of hard to wear, because although high waist-ed stuff is the most flattering, the majority of tops are either too cropped or too long. And if, like me you aren't such a fan of your stomach, too cropped inst normally the best option. But this was the best I could do, as I didn't want to include any colours that weren't grey I couldn't photograph it with the jumper I would actually wear with this, but whatever, its a navy blue rugby one if you cared. Ill post a cheeky pic below so as not to ruin the running theme above. Although to be fair it matches amazingly coincidentally with my Scrunchie, heppy Ellie. I don't actually wear this top that much, it just goes with everything I'm currently blogging..

The jumper was originally my dads (I am the queen of  "borrowing" clothes) And although my dad is a very cute 5'7" as with many 80's trends it went way past my knees, so i cut it up and resewed it ever so beautifully.

Anyway, hope this post is well received!
